The operations committee held its ordinary meeting at the morning of Monday, 06/05/2019 chaired by Mr. Ahmed Abdalla Ammar the Management Committee chairman and attended by Mr. Ahmed Almegbri the Management Committee member, departments managers and procurement committee chairman. In the beginning of the meeting the chairman spoke to welcome the attendants and congratulate them for the month of Ramadan.
The committee offered the HSE report including the worksites situation, the report indicated to significant decrease in the traffic accidents in all the worksites. Then the attendants discussed some issues such as exploration, drilling and workover and electrical projects executed by the company in the worksites, in addition to discussing the plans and programs of reservoirs developing.
Discussion about the Faregh Upgrading phase II project took place. The project is in the finishing stage. The committee also discussed the catering issues in the terminal and fields particularly in the month of Ramadan as well as the air transportation between the fields and some Libyan cities.
The chairman ordered the concerned managers to pay the salaries on time in addition to the labor day remuneration.
The meeting also discussed the flow of the spare parts and ensuring the other work requirements.
The meeting concluded to take some procedures to increase the production levels and facilitate the obstacles faces the departments.
